Fantastic tone - the scalding scorn and pompous self-inflaction was hilarious. And I do love books that alternate narratives. But it was a little long and I wish I had a better understanding of what of de Tocqueville's life was true/implied/parodies, because it was just a little too over my head.
Great story about breaking the boundries of race and just doing what you think is right and being friends with anyone and everybody no matter what race, age, or color.
