Bu kitabı kesinlikle beğendim. Gözlerinden bakış açısı hoş ve farklı bir hız değişikliğiydi. Konu korkunç, ama şüphesiz bazı insanlar için çok gerçek.
The Oatmeal is hilarious. It's as simple as that.
A magnum-opus of observation on the decline of western civilization. I couldn't put it down. Beyond the cavalcade of evidence, both anecdotal and actual, Steyn carves out the heart of the belief system of the multi-cultural, moral relatavist and barbecues it. Steyn paints with a broad brush and while there are topics where he misses the greater picture,(Peak Oil being a key one for me.) if you finish this title and walk away unconvinced then clearly you suffer from delusions about the state of humanity in the early 21st century.
Continuing on from The Pemberley Chronicles, Collins continues to write about the lifes of the familes associated with the the Pemberley estate. As years go on, love blooms, children are born and major events happen in the lifes of Elizabeth and Jane, their children, granchildren and friends. Entwining polictical and social happenings with the lifes of the Pemberley estate and its people, Collins' work, once again is superb.
Try as I might, I just can't get into this on any level and I am a huge fan of academic studies of food and drink. I gave up early in the book and have not finished...
