2 stars, because I can't say I liked this book enough, but I didn't hate it either, and it was somewhat helpful. I have conflicted feelings about this book, the basic message of which is "All you need is love, love is all you need". The author claims that "feeling love" is a solution to all of the personal problems. While I can't deny that being positive and upbeat in general makes life easier and more pleasant, I think that life is a little bit more complicated for all the problems to be solved with "just love everything and everyone". Byrnes oversimplifies a lot, there is a lot of generalization. She contradicts herself a lot (for example talking about relationships she at one point suggests that even verbally abusive partner can be made better by simply loving him, few pages later she stresses that abusive relationships should be ended). This book is less coherent than "The Secret", very repetitive. It doesn't say anything new. There's no harm I suppose in being reminded every once in a while that having a positive attitude helps, but that's the only purpose this book served for me.
