Let's just say the author earned his Pulitzer Prize. Perhaps the most revealing and important studies of the George W. Bush presidency.

I love this book so much. This was actually the second Discworld novel I read, after The Colour of Magic. And I completely fell in love with it, so my school librarian recommended to me, Mort. I have to say, to start off with, that my epitomically favourite character has to be Death, who's hilarious, adorable, cute and kinda scary. My favourite kind! I loved the different 'scenes' involving him and especially liked it when he ventured off to find a 'change' in his life, and trie to get another job, leaving his servant, daughter and poor Mort alone to handle things! I also really liked the main man, Mort, who was awkward and gangly throughout the book. The way he and Ysabell teased each other, and how he interacted with Death was grest on Pratchett's part! Overall, a great book, great premise AND GREAT CHARACTERS!
